So there’s a news piece up on Idolator detailing the alleged “Kanye is too busy looking at porn to blog” controversy.
Sorry for leaving this a little dull otherwise, but I’m suffering from a mad crazy fever and chills.
Jimmy Eat World, who used to actually play some pretty emo shows a looong time ago, is profiled here in the LA Times.
I’m posting this because I just came back from the Portland area. It’s a piece on Portland’s music scene. I won’t lie: I personally despise the Decemberists and Stephen Malkmus has never interested me. There are a ton of great bands from the northwest, though — just not the Decemberists. Please, God, not the Decemberists.

This isn’t music related, but it’s blog-related: if I ever have to wear something like this in order to keep up with the blogging lifestyle, I’d sooner, um… do something really dramatic and over the top. Thanks for the nightmares, Mashable.
My girlfriend pointed out to me when “We Both Go Down Together” (one of the few Decemberists songs I like) came on that Meloy kind of sound like Michael Stipe sometimes.
