Music Zen!

Your argument is sound, nothing but sound

After spending a couple of hours browsing through the endless music capabilities of MySpace, I stumble upon a band with an unusual name with an even more unusual sound. Maybeshewill is a Post-Rock band who can’t seem to stay on one side of a music barrier. Songs like “Not For Want Of Trying” blister through your ears like a truck hauling ass down a 25mph road, then it subsides in the middle giving you a psychedelic-like solo to bring out the natural high into your system. Then a nice soft-spoken keyboard silently enter the music… and every thing just works on a human proportion.

All I can really say about this band is that, the music mind of a person is possibly endless. Oh how the music change from 20 years ago, into something as beautiful and heart rendering as Maybeshewill. Just a beautiful piece of music is what we have in here. The landscape that they build is out of this world.

I can’t possibly explain on how and why Maybeshewill bring joy to this black hearted Metalhead. Maybe, you should just listen and enjoy the wonders of this band.

  5. That is one old picture of them; especially seeing as the guy second on the left isn’t in the band anymore (either that or Vicky was having a really bad day)

In case you didn’t know, new album out June 1st and UK tour is imminent. Catch them live if you can; got a live recording from their last tour on my blog.

Oh, and Not For Want Of Trying now out of print!
